A/lC Sweat departed on a short TDY. A/1C Wheeler is sole survivor in tool crib - likes it so well he extended for 8 months.
A/1C Tumminello is racing the clock. Will he be discharged first or will he be a proud papa first - deadline 13 March. Speaking of A/1C Tumminello, congratulations on being Squadron Airman of the Month for February.
Personnel Changes in OS
S/Sgt Welborn returned from AST 8 to NCOIC Personal Clothing and Equipment Section.
A/2C Jacobs was discharged. S/Sgt Carpenter left PCS to Hamilton AFB, Calif.
Mr. Dunn's teeth have finally caught up with him. He has his pipe stem enclosed in sandpaper. No slippage that way.
T/Sgt Wayne McCoy is attending the Materiel Control course conducted at Chanute AFB, I11.
Airman Kerney was selected to represent the TAFB basketball team in the tournament held at Savannah, Georgia. From the looks of things, the team made out OK.
S/Sgt Leo Sullivan returned from the 7-level supply course conducted at Amarillo AFB, Texas. He is now the well versed supply NCOIC of Maintenance Supply Laison Branch.
Airman Lawrence Rueden was assigned, replacing Airman Fritz. Glad to have you, Rueden.
Airman Hill took a five day leave while his wife was in the hospital. We all sincerely hope that everything is all right.
S/Sgt Cramer was reassigned to the Helicopter Section from the Base Supply Unit.
Has anyone noticed the appearance of the Provisioning Branch recently? The fellows really did a bang up job of painting the furniture and storage bins. Looks real nice. S/Sgt Switzer did an excellent job on the receiving counter.
Airman Arendt has been doing a good job in AWP, but we miss seeing Switzer's smiling face around Materiel Control.
