1370TH SUPRON'S BON-BONS

Capt Hamm departed for South America for approximately 12 days.

A/1C Waddell was admitted to the hospital, for a foot irritation. Some
people will do anything to get out of a parade.

Capt Thomas returned from three weeks TDY to AST 6.

S/Sgt Gordon's wife presented him with a baby boy on the 28th of February.
He weighed in at 7 lbs, 3 oz, named Anthony E. Congratulations, old boy!

A/1C Pete Hendersen came to Mission Kit from AST 5 and departed for Supply School at Amarillo on 1 Mar 62.

Lt Buck, S/Sgt Chalker, A/2C Green and A/2C Stephenson departed for AST 7 along with 140,000 lbs of cargo.

T/Sgt Shiflet returned from AST 6 and was assigned to the Mission Kit. He is the new NCOIC of the Branch.

A/2C Perry departed for AST 5.

Another welcome member to Mission Kit is T/Sgt Franklin, a Transportation Specialist from HQ USAFE. Welcome aboard Sarge.

Also, a hearty welcome to A/3C Shaver, A/3C Jennings, and A/3C Lott who were newly assigned to the SUPRON. We are glad to have you with us. More people for the OJT program.

A/1C Lynchesky left us for AST 7, saying that he would return, in 6 months. We in P. E. aren't too sure of that, as no one wants to be his replacement for THAT project. As usual, time will tell.

A/1C Lanning and A/1C Shows have also left us, but just for a month. They are attending a refresher school at Chanute AFB, Ill.

We've heard rumors that we were in line for a new floor and a new P. E. man. We had our fingers crossed and, sure enough, it all came true. Our new man in P. E. is A/3C Lott. He is from Columbus, Ga. T/Sgt Kennedy and Airman Lott should get along very well. Two Georgia boys in one shop is too much. We sure do appreciate the help. We'd like to have more, though. Can it be arranged?

Lt Meetze has taken over as P.E. Officer from Lt Dowdy. We all Like him, he is a quiet gentleman.
