1376TH MYTHS CONTINUED

Our leader, TSgt Brown, departs for MATS NCO Academy on Friday, 23 Feb 62. We will miss his smiling face around here for 6 weeks. We, who will be around here upon his return, had better study our dictionary so we can understand those big words he will learn at the House of Higher Learning.

We understand that Sgt Jones says the math they teach in 7-Level School is crazy, man, crazy.

Propulsion Branch

Congratulations to MSgt Jordan on being in the golfing foursome of Mr Boone, Allison Technical representative, who scored a hole-in-one on Turner AFB Golf Course.

1376th Orderly Room has moved to Hangar 1004.

Congratulations to Airman Bearce on his recent long-awaited, much-deserved promotion.

T-56 Engine Shop

A1C Nelms, D. R., has departed on a three-week TDY to Chanute AFB to attend a class on Vibration Analyzers for T-56 engines.

Airman O'Bryant is enjoying a brief stay here at the home station while awaiting a hop to take him back to AST 2. O'Bryant: was called home on an emergency leave.

Some of the men in this shop are sporting new stripes. Congratulations are in order for SSgt Sain, J. W, and A1C Green, M. H.

Fabrication

It seems that the Branch Chief has lost his principal place of abode now that the Orderly Room has moved to Hangar No. 2. He can be seen staggering through the. mist of sawdust at the wood mill these days. We hear that Airman Pancake has assumed an additional duty -- night watchman.

The number of scooters and crash helmets around the sheet metal shop makes one think they are preparing to launch Friendship 7. The latest scooter additions are Sgt Turner, A1C Bessey and A1C Frank.

We did rather well, promotion-wise, this month; adding stripes were SSgt Turner, A1C Taylor and A2C Thrift.

Corrosion Control Team's Latest motto; Hot or cold, wind or rain, we keep removing paint, no strain.
