1376TH MYTHS

Orderly Room

The 1376th CAMRON can boast of having another Wing Airman of the Month --this time (February), Airman First Class James C. Tallman.

MSgt Alfred T. Ingle and MSgt Robert H. Keene were graduated from the MATS NCO Academy Class 62-5 on 16 February.

Capt Walter L. Hummer is going TDY to Guam shortly, and Lt Dennie 0. Davis is taking over the duties of Administrative Officer for this Squadron.

Flight Line

There are lots of people walking around the Flight Line lately with big cigars hanging from their mouths. Maybe we have a bunch of big shots around the place. Just joking. These cigars are not the big-shot kind, they are strictly promotion cigars, and we take this opportunity to make mention of the fact and to extend our sincere congratulations. Promotions in Flight Line are as follows:

To Staff Sergeant, Airmen Harold Newton and H. A. Wheeler

To Airman First Class, Airmen Andrew Drotleff (AST 5 at present, we'll get your cigar later), R. E. Woodcock (AST 8), R. L. Brandon, and A. Simborski (also AST 5, more cigars later)

To Airman Second Class, Airmen Coloton, Leroy Erickson, and Jerry Green. Again, we congratulate you.

A1C Back has left us for the land of good chow and cool days. The rumor is that it is called AST 5. Airman Erickson (Swedie) also left for the land of sunshine and sandy beaches 3 grass skirts, and all that sort of stuff.

Our apologies to SSgt and Mrs. Jerome Johnson on the error in the January issue on the birth date of their baby girl. She was born on the llth of January instead of the 9th, as we stated. Our sincere apologies.

Flight Line Maintenance NCO's attended the NCO call at 1500 at the Boat Docks on the 30th of January. After a short ovation by Maj Drawhorn of FLM, and MSgt Walters of the Periodic Section, light refreshments were served. It seems that everyone really enjoyed this type of NCO call. They must have, because they want one once a week now, instead of once a month.

We bid adieu to SSgt Robert Epling of the Flight Line, and we wish him the very best of luck in his new assignment with the 4138th Strat Wing Trans. Alert Section.
