1373rd COMPUTER CLATTER

The month of February was one of reorganization and familiarization for MCRON-3 personnel. The Squadron completed its move into the GPAC building, except for a few pieces of essential photo equipment which the manufacturer seems to have side tracked. Just after we moved in, a warm spell hit Turner and naturally, the air conditioning didn't work.
A cry of "Open all the windows" was heard, but alas, GPAC has no windows.

Maj Rodriques, Photo Division Chief, was reassigned to the 1375th early in February and Maj Rosaler took over Photo with Maj Nicholson assuming control of Operations Division.

Capt Tom Vogt, a new arrival in MCRON-3, was told the day he arrived that he was Data Control Chief. Just when things seemed to be settled, and a chain of command established, Maj Rosaler received orders promoting him to Lt Colonel (Congratulations'.) Seems like more reorganization is in order. Meanwhile, Maj Nicholson labors over the additional duty rosters, trying to determine who will do what. He can't figure out who will be around long enough to take on these "Wonderful" opportunities.

Lt Courtney and Lt Brown were assigned to the Squadron this month. A1C Smith and A1C Rooney departed to civilian life. Best of luck on the outside.

TSgt Menchio, A3C Minton and A3C McCurdy departed for AST 5.
SSgt Hensbee departed TDY to AST 7.

Recent returnees from TDY are A2C Murchison from AST 2, and A2C Vaiko, A1C Greed, A2C Wideman, A2C Wood from AST 5.

SSgt Williams departed TDY to AST 2.

Newly assigned to the Squadron are A1C Glen Davis, A1C Gene Juan, and SSgt Graves.

MSgt Cornblatt recently was promoted to E-8.
Congratulations. A1C Brewer is now a proud father of a new son.

Before we close for the month, it seems that we should answer a much asked question, that is: "What does GPAC (Prounounced Gee Pack) stand for?" "The true definition is - GPAC your bags, you're going TDY".
