Louis E Roberts, was on the RB-50Fs(1376th CAMRON, 1370th OMS) at Turner AFB, Ga until the RC-135As came in, then he was a crew chief on RC135As and moved to Forbes in 1967.

Claude Kendall Stambaugh

Claude Kendall Stambaugh was born on 09/24/1918 and died on 05/18/1999 at the age of 80.

He is survived by his wife Helen.

Claude Stambaugh is buried in the Ten Mile Cemetery, which is located in Bellingham, WA.

Donald G. Wilmot

ALBANY, Ga. CWO Donald G. Wilmot, United States Air Force, (retired) passed away Saturday, April 3, 1999.

He was born in Cherry Valley on May 29, 1907, the son of George H. and Jennie (Kane) Wilmot.

He attended Albany Business College and was employed by Tebbutt's Funeral Home in Albany, N.Y. In 1942, he joined the Air Force. He served in World War II and the Korean War. He was chief instructor of the Finance School, Lowry Air Force Base in Denver, and was an agent finance officer to NATO in Denmark.He was assigned to the 1370th PMW, Turner AFB, Finance Office.

He was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church, the Kiwanis Club, Retired Officers Association, YMCA and Walter Burt American Post No. 30.

In 1943, he married Eleanor (Duwe) Adams. She predeceased him on Dec. 26, 1992. In 1993, he married Kathleen Beck, who survives.

He is also survived by a nephew, Gerald Wilmot of Cherry Valley; a niece, Susan Haris of Seattle; and six great-nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, G. Hubert Wilmot and a sister, Lois Brunjes.

A memorial service was held at Covenant Presbyterian Church, April 6, 1999, in Albany, Ga., he was cremated and his cremains will be interned in the family plot in Cherry Valley.

On April 21, 1999, at 5:30 p.m. there will be a committal service at the Cherry Valley Cemetery, Cherry Valley with the Rev. Ron Fralick officiating.

Local arrangements are by the Ottman Funeral Home, Cherry Valley.
